For You have tried us, O God; You have refined us as silver is refined.
As we navigate the problem/illness at hand, we have to stop and focus. We invoke the assistance of others by asking for advice or aid. But even then sometimes things just fall apart.
This requires us to shift our thinking and actions. Yes, it can be overwhelming, but it also refines us. It strengthens us and rebuilds us. As a matter of fact, it often causes us to change directions, allowing us new opportunities to grow.
